Log Files

When you access our website, your internet browser automatically transmits data to our web server. This data includes, among other things, the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referring URL, the name of the accessed file, the amount of data transferred, the date and time of access, and your IP address.

The collection and storage of this data takes place exclusively in anonymized or pseudonymized form and does not allow us to identify you as a natural person. This data is stored separately from other data that you enter when using our online offering. It is evaluated only for statistical purposes.

Cookies

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used, such as tracking pixels and web beacons, as well as the related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found here: https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.

The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR and Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used, as well as the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we cannot manage your consents.

Google Maps

We use the Google Maps API on our website to visually display geographical information. Google Maps is a map service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the websites. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy: http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.

There, in the privacy center, you can also change your settings so that you can manage and protect your data.

Social Media

The content on our pages can be shared on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Xing, WhatsApp or Google+. Our pages do not include plugins provided by the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Xing, WhatsApp or Google. An automatic transfer of user data to the operators of these platforms does not take place on our pages.

Our social buttons establish direct contact between the networks and users only when the user actively clicks on one of these buttons. If the user is logged into one of the social networks, an information window appears when using the social buttons of Facebook, Twitter, Xing, WhatsApp or Google+, in which the user can edit the text before sending it.

As a user, you can post the content of this website on social networks without complete browsing profiles being created by the operators of the networks.

Contact via Our Website

You can contact us directly via the contact forms on our website, such as appointment requests, referral requests or prescription requests. We collect, process, store and use the contact details and information you provide via the form exclusively for the purpose of handling your specific request.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By consenting to the processing, you also agree to further communication with us by email regarding your request.

Deletion and Blocking of Personal Data

We process and store personal data only for the period required to achieve the purpose of storage, or where this has been provided for by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations to which we are subject.

If the purpose of storage no longer applies, or if a storage period prescribed by the European legislator or another competent legislator expires, the personal data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with statutory provisions.

Rights of the Data Subject

You may at any time, without giving reasons, request information free of charge about the data stored by us about you. You may at any time have the data collected by us blocked, corrected or deleted, and object to the anonymized or pseudonymized collection and storage of data for the purpose of optimizing our website.

You may also revoke any consent you have given us for the collection and use of data at any time without giving reasons. The data processing remains lawful until the time of revocation. The revocation must be addressed to the controller using the contact details stated above.

Pursuant to Article 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example with the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful.

Data Protection for Applications and in the Application Process

We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing may also take place electronically. This is particularly the case when an applicant submits relevant application documents electronically, for example by email, to the controller responsible for processing.

If we enter into an employment contract with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with statutory provisions.

If we do not enter into an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted six months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the controller responsible for processing oppose deletion. Another legitimate interest in this sense may, for example, be an obligation to provide evidence in proceedings under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
